A guide for parents and players — choose the right path for your athlete this season.
For improving young players. U10 Development is coach-led and parent-assisted, built to develop basketball FUNdamentals through structured weekly sessions. No tryouts — every interested player is welcome.
Sessions run from the week of September 28, 2026 through early March 2027. Thanksgiving, the Christmas break (Dec 19, 2026 – Jan 3, 2027), Family Day, March Break, Easter, and school-board PD / closure days are skipped. Expand a stream below to see every session date.
Heads-up: from time to time a school board may cancel a scheduled session at short notice for a school priority (assemblies, board events, or unplanned closures). When that happens, additional dates will be added in March 2027 so every stream still delivers its full 20 sessions.
No child should miss the season because of cost. Several organizations offer registration support to qualifying families — apply if you need help. More on the OSBA Financial Assistance page.
